I have the air ride suspension on my ex. I have also had an AAl installed on the rear end. one of my rear air shocks has recently started leaking, causing the compressor to have to almost constantly pump air into the shock to keep it inflated. when the vehicle is off for extended periods of time, then the shock remains deflated, until i start the truck

i am wondering if this lower position of the shock is going to effect my leaf springs on the side. will it eventually end up flattenning them out more? thanks, todd.

anyone?

it wont make them flatten any more than regular flattening goes....

Will do stuff all to the sprig’s, I would be more worried about burning the compressor out, I hear those unit’s are expensive.

what exactly does that mean?

Exactly that, it will do stuff all to the sprigs, meaning it will not affect or damage the springs in any way.

If no air is pumped into it, It will just be like driving around with a busted shock, but being leaf sprung on the rear you will hardly notice it, If they were coil’s it would affect it a lot more as coils work and rely on shock’s a lot more that leaf sprigs do.
