my wife has a 96 ZJ (grand cherokee) and the front shocks are the same wiht the strap throunh the bottom and the stud on top. i was wondering is anyone has tried interchanging them. the only reason i ask is you can get a really good deal for the ones for lifted vehicles on ebay. i just bought a set of rough country shocks for my wives zj.
