Hi Howard,
I can remember one of your posts where you commented that you had fitted different brake discs. I have seen some EBC discs on Ebay. Are these like the ones you fitted?
There is nothing wrong with mine at the moment having only covered about 15,000 miles.
I do a lot of towing and the brakes just feel 'wooden'.
Did you notice a considerable difference in performance and 'feel'?
Thanks

Kevin.

Ebay item number 320177802699.

I fitted http://www.powerslot.com/index.html discs front and rear coupled with Hawk performance pads. I used just the slotted ones (no dimples).

Did I notice a difference? A fantastic improvement over the standard ones. She now stops very quickly if you want to. If fact the mot guy broke his rolling road when I had the test done. I asked him were they within limits. His answer was that he had never had any better on any car he had tested.

So, in my opinion, they are the best improvement you can make to your braking system. I've had them on for almost 50k now and only on my second set of pads. The discs show virtually no signs of wear and I'm sure will be good for many miles more.

hi howard, how much do the parts cost for this conversion?

mick.

Can't remember exactly but somewhere in the region of £400. I did it about 5 years ago so a lot has changed since then.
