Question For Those W/Diamond Clear Headlights

There has been more than one person who felt the diamond clear headlights(DCH) are leaving unlighted spaces, dark areas in the beam pattern.
This was never mentioned when the first DCH were purchased/installed and "reviewed" here. Pics seemed to show a really good beam pattern with no dark areas.
I am wondering if there are two manufactures of the DCH? Or if the same mfg. just added the bulb shield and that is causing dark areas.
Anybody got any ideas?

So essentially what you are saying is get the DCH without the bulb shield? Sorry I have no clue how to help you as I dont have a pair myself yet but I was wondering which ones I should get.

I've heard some people blame it on the bulb shield, which I guess could be the case, but when I first saw the updated design I thought the shield would help the beam pattern.

I have a pair (w/o bulb shield) and am very happy with them, especially being so high off the pavement. Huge improvement over stock, especially in the horizontal cutoff, so i don't blind those in front of me.
