no, the sway bar will limit the travel, but you will get a better ride with the addition of new shocks..I recommend the RS 5000 if you don't want to spend alot of money...
So do you get longer shocks, or do you keep the stock size?? I think I am going to get some monroe reflex's just because I have heard they are pretty good shocks and I can get a great deal on them. Thanks!
I've got the RS5000's for a stock rig..Never have any trouble with them bottoming out, sway bar always limits the travel. Try a search on the shocks, someone may be able to answer your better..BTW I'm happy with the RS5000 and would recommend them to anyone...
Ok, well for some reason I can't get the search to work, but maybe you can answer this for me MDrut-If I am planning on getting sway bar disconnects in the future, will I want to go with longer shocks, or will that not matter if I were to take the sway bars off?? Thanks a lot for all your help
The Rancho are longer, even if you order stock..As for as the other manufacturers I'm not sure..Yes you want longer if you are disconnecting the swaybar. One more thing, you are going to need the adjustable camber bushings, the stock will not adjust out enough..Got mine from SkyJacker..
Do you have to have the bushings to complete the lift?? If you do, where can you get them, and how much are they?? Also, I was just wondering, how do you install the front end of the lift. I just went out and bought the lift today, but there are no directions with the coil springs. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
