Question on 98-00 tailights...

Does anyone know if the amber part on the 98-00 tailights is simply a reflector or is it actually painted amber? If it's a reflector, is it possible to remove it so the top of my lights are clear like the bottom of the lights? Any help would be appreciated... thanks.

it's not a reflector. reflectors are opaque and reflect light.

if you don't like the amber part of the taillights, but don't want to replace the taillight itself, the only other option is painting. you could use "Night Shades" or a translucent model car paint.
