question on egr delete

I have a 94 explorer 4.0 im getin ready to put a set of pace setter headers on and i was wondering if i already have every thing off would it be worth putting an egr delete in its got over 200,000 so i think im gonna have to cut the egr tube and i dont want to buy a new one. does anyone no if you can buy a set of hooker headers instead i havent found one

You might try spraying the fitting threads with P B Blaster twice a day for several days. EGR reduces the temperature of combustion resulting in longer valve and piston life. If working properly it is disabled at idle and WOT.

Honestly,
it will cost more $$ to delete it than to fix it. Your ECM will go into open loop mode with a malfunctioning egr. You cannot fool the sensors.

Not to mention it is illegal, and other members contributing is technically a conspiracy to commit a federal crime.
