I have a 91 ex sport with 4.0 and a4ld tranny. Engine is getting to the point where it could use some help. I have a donor vehicle with an engine that can be rebuilt while still driving this one, or I see on ebay where there is a short block
New 4.0 Ford OHV shortblock--fits 95-99 OHV applications, Casting # 97TM-6015
Can this be used in my truck? If so what would be needed to make it work. Trying to see if it's cheaper to rebuild what I have or what my other options are. I have tried the local boneyards and they want way to much for what's available.
