ok here is my 2 cents worth:
First, just to make sure, do you know how much Bahns are? My friend has them on his neon, and they are worth more than the car i think, well close, but they do look awesome on it, they are a good looking rim.
Next, make sure that when you put new tires on the new rims, that the circumference is the same on the new set, as the old stock. so for example, if you start with (i am guessing here) 265/70/R16 then you want some thing in the region of like 275/55/R17's. anything lower profile, i also believe would look incredibly GHETTO.
Finally, if you do figure out that you want the rims, i would recommend Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires, they are great.
There ya have it-

This topic is in the wrong forum. I'm moving it to wheels/tires. I believe the question can be better answered in that forum.

Thanks for ur help RJXplorer. How much do think those tires would run me, those Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires.

Saleen,
If you have the same rims that's are on my truck, and you replace them with 17" rims, would you be interested in selling 1 maybe 3 rims to me? I am looking for a spare rim for my 97 Explorer Sport. Take a look at my web page, and if we have the same rims then Like I said I would be interested in buying some.

Chris-
I am not exactly sure what size you would need, but in ost major automotive magazines, you can check in the add sections fo the likes of Discount Tire, the Tire Rack, etc....but if you need say a 275/55/zr17 they run about 179. good luck!

I'd have to agree with RJXplorer. Do you really want to buy rims that expensive. On my 96 Sport I have 17" AR Silver Pythons with Dunlop Sport Rover GTX's. I really like the way they look, they are noticably wider than stock and they look damn good. Plus it only cost about $1,300 total. Just a tip but anytime you buy tires like the Scorpions or the Sport Rovers you don't get a whole lot of life out of them. They wear very fast but the difference in grip is amazing. I'll try to get some Picturesof my Explorer when I get it washed. Hope this helps.

P.S. If getting the rims you want requires adapters, don't buy them. Adapters weigh about 20 lbs a piece and that extra unsprung weight really slows you down (it looks bad too).
