Question regarding cargo cover.

Hello and thanks in advance for your answers. I have a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer and am looking to replace the cargo cover. I almost always replace parts for my Merc with Explorer parts and have never had a problem. My question is this. Are the cargo covers for the Explorer sport the same as a full size Explorer? I found one for the appropriate year but it came off of a sport. I would just go buy one that I KNOW will fit my truck, but this one can be picked up in person when Im in the bay next weekend. Any help would be great.

I just bought a cargo cover for my 91 sport but there is nowhere to attach it behind the rear seat. I never had one in this truck before and am not sure what to attach it too. The notches are there at the rear gate but again nothing to attach too behind the seat, pease help, I had tools stolen from my truck and need the cover.
