Question regarding exhaust manifold

Hello all,

I have been in this forum for quite some time, but this is the first time posting.

I have been searching through a few sites in order to purchase a passenger side exhaust manifold for my SUV.

2004 Mercury Mountaineer AWD

I have read a lot about staying away from Dorman. I really can't afford to go OEM in this case as I have a 5 week old baby at home and the wife is out of work at the moment.

Are there any other brand exhaust manifolds that you would recommend that has good quality?

What have you heard about the Dorman ones?
And what you've heard, was it about explorer ones or other makes?

I have read mixed reviews about Dorman exhaust manifolds in general being of a low quality. I've used Dorman parts in the past for different vehicles, but never for the manifold

Like I posted in the first post, I have a 5 week old and also a 4 year old that are constantly in the truck. I want quality and am wondering if Dorman would be a good replacement.
