Quick question regarding exhaust manifold to downpipe bolts(pic inside)

Hey all. Wondering if these are indeed bolts or Studs

So is the flange on the manifold threaded?? As in female threads.

Im having a real hard time to get them out!

Yes, try heat on the flange on exhaust manifold side and an air impact. If you are doing manifold replacement there are some good write ups on this forum when you search.

Georgie - one thread is sufficient.

I assume they are broken bolts in the manifold. Heat it up cherry red, and tap a large slotted screwdriver into the bolt and back it out. Works every time
