question with testing my solenoid block

I read the thread that you can test your solenoid block by removing the connector and fuse and test the ohms but how do u exactly hook up the volt meter? Do i ground to a universal ground and test each pin? Or do i need to do something other than just pull out the fuse?

You test pin-to-pin for resistance. However, that is not always a clear indicator of a faulty solenoid block. If it is giving solenoid codes or symptomatic, you are best off replacing it.
