Questions about new purchase

We just purchased a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport with 30,000. Carfax and everything states it was a corporate vehicle. My question is how can I tell if it has a non factory tune on it? We have had it 2 weeks and getting about 12 mpg. We not driving crazy but it is all city stop and go. Running AC (live in Az). Just trying to figure out why mpg is so low. I would be happy with 15 mpg.

Congrats on your purchase! I know you will be happy with your Ex..... I've got a 15 Ex Sport and I get around 12-15 in city driving. I don't live in AZ, but the mileage will definitely be less for city driving with A/C! Two weeks is not enough time to get a feel for your MPG. Just be patient and just compare your driving over time and you should be close to an average. Good luck!

Welcome to the Forum.
Although I can't tell you what to look for, chances are it does not have a 'tune' on it.
FYI, the dash readout figures usually show a more optimistic number than what the actual MPG is. You wold be best to do a manual calculation to get a more accurate number. I use fuelly.com to track my mileage. It does all the figuring for you and it keeps track of all your fill ups so you can always go back and see any big changes over time. City driving will definitely give you lower MPG. As for using the A/C, I can't say that it has affected my mileage much and I've been using it daily for the past month.
