im 16 and just recently got a 94 navajo for my first car (truck) and ive gotten into trail ridding and off roading and stock just aint cuttin it, so now im looking to modify. ive already got flowmaster exhaust (and it needs to be louder if anyone has any tips) and the next mod i think is going to be bigger tires. right now ive got the stock 235/75 tires on it now and i was hoping to get 31's or so, if anyone could give me some suggestions on how to pull it off with out spending too much money (getting a body or suspension kit) it would be very helpful. ive read some things on shocks that give you some lift and even add-a-leafs or just plain new leafs that can give you some extra height. if anyone could give me some more info on these things and help me out a bit a new serious explorer would be very appreciative.
thanks,
navajokid

You can do coil spacers and add-a-leafs (or shackles). I've done these mods to a Ranger and it was cake. Under $100 too. Do a search and you'll find TONS of info on these things. Good luck!

Also, changing the air filter will help with power and sound. I recommend the KKM kit: www.kustomz.com

I second the suggestion for the spacer/shackle lift.

Depending on your truck you may be able to fit 31" tires without any lift at all, you might have to do some trimming depending on the truck again.

You could do the Spacers/Shackles lift for fairly cheap, I just finished mine, Parts cost me $75, I spent about $30 on tools, and Ill have to get an alignment so that should run around $150 with the new camber bushings.

With that lift you will for sure clear 31s and depending on your truck and if you want to do any trimming you may be able to fit a set of 32s.

I have the KKM intake on my truck and love it, Im hoping to do the exhaust soon.
