Are Explorers wired for every option?
I have an absolute base model '98 with no options, just a radio...are all the connectors there for power seats, windows, locks, and the like? My interior is pretty beat up and I have a line on some nice condition '00 power leather seats...if I can just plug 'n play, I'll pick them up, but if I've got to do all the wiring it might not be worth it.

Not certain, but gut feeling is that connectors and harness are expensive. But, if I built mass production, would it maybe cost MORE to have the contractor who builds my harnesses make a whole bunch of different ones?

Dig around under the driver's seat, if you find a connector there, that one question will be answered. Next, is there a fuse provided? After that, do you think you want to go to the trouble of installing the door panels having switches, etc., or just talking about seats alone? imp
