Quick help!!!

Alright the X is going in tomorrow to get the tranny cooler and new shocks. i got the rancho shocks in the RS5229 model. will those fit? also can i paint a tranny coler black? it is silver now and would look goofy in there silver.

If you want to paint the tranny cooler, I'd hand paint it with some Rustoleum. Be careful not to put too much on and block the viens.

like a light coat of black spray paint will be fine?

oh ow about the shocks if anyone knows? i e-mailed rancho and that's what they said but when i got them today the order recite said shocks 97 explorer. hope they fit.

If they say 97 X then they'll fit.

I wouldn't do spraypaint for fear totally inhibiting airflow. Actually, the black cooler may make it run a bit hotter.

i just took it outa the box and it has a bit of dark grey tint. the one at the store was all silver so i'm going to forget about it. i was going to but after thinking it over i'll blet it go. thanks alec for your help.
