This summer I am planning on a 3" body lift and 1" suspension lift w/ 32x11.50's on my 95 v6 2wd X w/ 3.73 gears. What kind of MPG can i expect to get out of that? And what if I add a KKM and custom 2.5" catback w/ a Borla or Magnaflow? Any help or edjumacated guesstimations would be of great help. Thanks in advance y'all.

I don't know about the lift as I run a stock height, but I can tell you about the intake / exhaust. I too have the KKM and I have a Ravin with 2.5" pipes - I gained about 1.5 MPG out of that. I then yanked my roof rack and got another .5 brining the total up to +2. Yea, now I'm hitting 16.5 constantly! :)

I know a lot of guys have lifts and I could be totaly wrong, but with a higher wind resistance, and those big fat tires ( :) ), your MPG should go down. Maybe the two cancel each other out?

Ry.

The bigger tires will tape more MPG. Unless you change teh gearing.

If you use 32" tires with 3.73 gears that is almost equiveilent(sp?) to running stock tires with 3.27 gears. If you have the 4.0l OHV motor that is..

You mileage may or maynot go up.. It depends on your driving style. If you don't try to out accelerate people at the light etc you shoudl do fine.. especially on the freeway...

Some people with 3.27 gears get worse mileage than some with 3.73 gears (same tires etc).. it just depends on how you drive..

The majority of my driving is done on the highway at speeds around 80 mph going to and from college. Other than that, the X doesn't see a whole lot of action b/c I can walk everywhere on campus. Right now I'm getting somewhere in between 18 - 20 MPG and if I could pull out about 16, I wouldn't see a problem w/ it. Also, how musch do you think the lift will cost? My dad is buying the tires so I'm not worried about that. I am figuring $60 for the Add-A-Leaves and $150 for the Body Lift. Is that ballpark or will it end up costing more?
If it helps, it's all comming from 4 Wheel Parts here in Memphis (I know I could give them a call, but I'm just too lazy). Thanks.
