I have 5.5-inches of suspension lift and have not modified my driveshafts, and have not had any problems.

ok cool, is yours soa, i think i wanna do that and then 4 inch coils and the f150 spring seat

If you do the SOA, you should get 5.5 inches of lift. If you add the f150 into the mix, don't you get some extra lift as well as stiffness? I have a '92 XLT where the previous owner added a leaf from a f150, cut to fit and rebuilt the stack. It's a really really stiff ride and gives me 3" of lift without the SOA. I plan on doing the SOA but will need to resort to stock springs to limit it to 5.5". What are you going to do to your front end? I think I'm in the same situation as you are, where I want the total lift front and rear to be at 5.5". I'm concerned about wheel travel and have been explorering long radius arm options. Drop brackets on the stock arms don't make sense to me other than giving you a ride in the sky. What are you going to do?

SOA in the rear gives you 5.5-inches of lift in the rear. In the front you will need 5.5-inch lift coil springs, drop brackets and extended brake lines. I have the Superlift 5.5-inch lift kit with 33x12.5 tires. It is a decent entry option. Any modification is just the beginning of more modification.
