I just got a pair of 6.5 blaupunkt speakers for dirt cheap (not componants). I was wondering if these speakers will fit my 1994 x 2 door? also will i need to do any cutting bending ect. to install?

The stock speakers are 6 x 8; you will have to use an apaptor plate ( I think its called ) to fit the round speakers in there.

Good luck......

thanks! anyone know where i can buy the adaptor online?

Make them out of some 3/4 mdf its so easy. All you need is a saber saw and a screw gun with a drill bit. take off the existing factory plate that holds speakers (the one in front 2 doors) trace it and cut it out. trace the speakers size on the cut out template and than cut the circle out and your good. Dont pay $30 for 2 its so easy to make them. You wont have to cut any metal for fronts. Hell use scrap wood it doesnt matter as long as it cuts and holds well it will work. You wont be disappointed 6.5's sound so good in the doors :D Just noticed you had 2 door the fronts will be fine than im not sure about the back though never seen the back of a 2 door.

Thanks i was thinking about doing that I work for home depot so i will keep an eye out for some cut mdf or maybee some plexi glass.
Another question? is it a big job to take the door panel off?

No its as easy as washing your car take 3 screws out and pop the push-in pins behind the door out and there you go.
