I just got a new 2017 Explorer XLT and the remote start does not cool the car and the air is only tickling out of the vents! Im disappointed, whats the point of having remote start.
A friend of mine has a 2016 Edge platinum and when she remote starts her car the fans are blowing hard and the car is cooled.
I asked my dealer about it but it sounds like this is something they have no clue about.
I read the post but I didn't see any solutions, anyone else have updates on this?

From what I gather from PlatinumOwner's posts, there is no way to turn it off as there is no setting for it. If there was, I'm sure he would have done so already. So It sounds like I will need to take it into the dealer to have them turn off "quiet mode"

Perhaps you might have to compare your "As Built Data" with a member who has a 'working' (non quiet start) system and who can supply their data. Would that perhaps provide some insight? I would think that something has to be different.Yes, if there is a setting... it hasn't been found yet and the dealers aren't aware of it. I am trying some more values today in FORScan and will let you know if I find it.
