quiet tire recomendation- Yoko / Pirelli/ BFG ?

My dads lookiing for a set of 31's for his '93 Bronco. He wants something quiet (very important) and more of a road tire.

I've found Yokohama Geolander H/T's for $81
and Pirelli Scorpion S/T's $90
or BFG Long Trails
Both sound pretty good- quiet, on road traction etc.
Any recommendations on these or any others?

Thanks

I recommand the Michelin LTX. I know it's a little more expensive but it's a very quiet tire. Traction is excellent too and the ride dramatically improved after the switch (I had Kelly Safari AWR(very bad tire)).

same, the LTX M/S or A/S are both VERY quiet tires on the road.

I agree with the assessment on the Michelins. I had a set of the LTX M/S on a F-150. They were the best riding and quietest tire I've ever had. They are not cheap though.

Ditto on the michelins - I ran 65k miles on my set and they were still decent when I got rid of them...
