Would white stripes look good on my truck? My X has changed a little since that photo. I removed the blackouts and bug shield and put on a billet grille.

racing stripes look good on Vipers and classic muscle cars IMHO

Its your truck, if you like em, then add em.

Good luck......

*AHEM* Section, you should put them closer together.....real racing stripes are only like an inch or so apart!

EDIT: And stop using your truck's pic as a photoshop gineau pig!! I notice you like putting your grille on everyone elses truck :D

i think it would look alot better if your trim was body color. i dont think it goes with the tan very well.

I have only seen one X that looks good with racing stripes, and it's this one.

That doesn't mean they won't look good on yours, just my opinion.

Hey man.. I had to custom make your grille. So stfu. :D

Also, it's not my fault his truck happened to be at the same angle as my avitar! And stop stalking me and my truck!

Don't make me break out the Queen picture again!

IMO you would have to many colors on your truck. If you removed the tan trim (or painted same color as your truck) and added the stripes that would look good. I personally like when everything is one color, looks more uniform but the stripes would be different and would make it stand out of the crowd.

I'm going more toward the street scene and thought it might look good b/c not many have done it even thou my X isn't that fast. I want it to stand out but in a good way! Thanks for your opinions

I say go for it, if you want to. I used to have a 1990 Ranger that was black and I wanted to put Hugger Orange (yes I know its a Chevy color) racing stripe on it but never did. I like stripes alot.

Hey, ShadowA2J... were those pics taken at the swap meet in Englishtown this year. I could have sworn I saw them and loved the stripes. Let me know.

paint your trim body color and get some ghost flames with some pearl in them..that would look so awesome.

Yeah they were. I wasn't there though. I borrowed the pics from a member at another forum I belong to.

The owner of the truck with the stripes is SPAS on this board. LizardTrac has white stripes on his lifted black sport and they look good, too.

Then Spas has a phatty truck :D I should put some silver stripes on, not sure how a first gen would look black w/ silver stripes.

Has anyone thought of doing Boss or Mach type stripes that run up the hood and wrap over the back of the front fenders? And I would love to do the pearled ghost flames w/ blue gray in the pearl. My 5 yr old says I don't have a hot rod 'til it's got flames.
