On my 00 Mounty, I am noticing some clicking around corners, but the stumper is that the tie rods, ball joints, upper and lower are solid. Having it up on stands, i am getting some play in the rack. Is this normal?
In the process of troubleshooting, i had it on the stands and turned the wheel back and forth with the motor on, and the wheels shuttered badly.
Could it be the rack, steering gear?
Thoughts?
