radar detector??

whats up guys.....i'm in the market for buying a radar detector and I want a good one so i don't mind spending alot...i'm leaning towards the Valentine1 i think its called.....does anyone know if this is as good as it claims or if any other company makes a better one for that price or less??.....also is Ebay a safe place to buy a detector ....thanks

i personally have not used the valentine one, i have a whistler 1655 that i suckered my parents into buying me one night when it popped up on QVC valentine has a very good reputation as far as i know

ebay is as good a place to get them as any, just make sure that the one you get is BRAND NEW and has a WARRANTY, otherwise you may be risking something

my radar detector has saved me many times, but remember, you best weapon is to drive slower, i just got back from court on my latest ticket...... the cop was following me at night without his radar on.

the Valentine1 is the ONLY way to go. I have had mine for a yr and have had nothing better... have had everything else and this beats them all....
I looked for them on ebay and they seem over priced....
