Radio Accelleration Noise

I have heard of this before and as welll have had vehicles that have done this before just cannot remember why or how to fix it.. you know when you accellerate you hear a humming noise through your speakers.. any idea's?

it has something to do with the earth's magnetic field in canada, it messes with people's heads too.

just kidding. check your radio and antena wiring, a loose conection can cause it. other than that im not sure.
 






sounds like alternator hum, Does it change with the engine rpm? if so add another ground wire to the back of your radio and straight to the frame of the vehicle, also you can get a ground loop isolator, should help your problem.
 






Check your radio interferance capacitor, it is located under the coil.
 






I had the same problem and it was the ground wire at the back of the radio, i just made a new ground point. The noise went away. Also if you have amps in the back make sure the power and rca signal cables run on opposite sides of the truck.

its possible it could have something to do with ur fuel pump. i read somewhere that interferece caused by the fuel pump was doing something like that. i believe it was a recall actaully. look into it, who knows, maybe ford will fix it for free! haha good luck!
