RADIO/CLOCK PANEL BLACKED OUT

My whole control panel, showing which radio station/which audio mode, clock, etc. has burned out and the dealer is now telling me I need to replace my entire 6 changer cd/radio system, because there is no way to change just the bulb. $1,000+ As my Explorer is only 3 yrs. old, I'm a littled teed. All of the componants work fine, you just can't tell where you are and what station your on (or what time it is!) Any one else had this problem?

Get an after market setup. You can get a Head Unit and a 6 disc changer for less than $500 if you do it right.
