I gave up torquing those bushings.. Nowadays I just use my impact wrench (my cheap one that won't go over 200 lbs) and crank it down..

I use rubber bushings and they seem to last even when I do this.

Autozone.com has the repair guid for the 1st gen x's on their site which should have the torque settings for the RA to the RA bracket.

ok i looked on autozone.com and it sais 90-120 ft lbs but if i do that would it make the bushings flush with the bracket and if so would the pressure lower the suspension at all?

anyone know?

The pressure won't lift/lower the suspension.. If you don't have it torqued down you "could" get more suspension droop as the bushing will be looser, but thats not a good thing to do..
