Rancho RS5000 or Monroe Reflex?

I am debating between this two, wondering which is better. They are both about the same price. I have read that the Ranchos wear out quicker and lower ride height. Is this true. Opinions?

Ride height should depend on your suspension system itself, not the shocks, since shocks are made for different suspension lift heights... I have stock length RS5000s and will be doing the TT - Shackle lift after I return from the beach and they will be fine for stock to 2 inches of lift...

Have the RS5000, stock length w/ 2" lift..I would buy them again, and I do not hesitate to recommend them to others..For the price, don't think you can beat them..
