I've done a search and found plenty about 4wd lights but I couldn't find anything about a random 4wd light. Basically what happens is the 4wd hi and low lights will blink occasionally at random speeds, sometimes it's 50, could be 55 another time, sometimes it'll do it while in neutral. They dont stay blinking for more than a few seconds. Also when I turn i'll occasionally get a grinding sensation from the front, like a brake is rubbing or something, which may or may not be related (perhaps the 4wd is engaging then??). The vehicle is a 97 sport with a the ohv engine and a manual tranny, also has control trac. The previous owner replaced the TC before he sold it so my quesion is what's causing this?
