I've got a '94 Ranger extra cab SXT w/ 4.0L. About 1.5 years ago it sat around for almost 2 months. When I went to drive it, I got about 4 miles from the house and it died on me. I could only start it by holding the gas pedal all the way to the floor and then it began to surge and buck when put into gear (automatic) It did this for about 3 or 4 minutes then started to run correctly. About 4 months go by and it starts again just driving down the road and I found by un-plugging the MAS on the intake allowed it to run. I replaced the MAS but to no avail. During the winter (Florida) it runs fine but when it warms up it will start the same over again. I've been told fuel filter or fuel pump. I had a local mechanic tell me the left bank was lean??? Please help. Also have no brake lights just running lights
