Have a 95 Ranger power widow problem.

There are about 4 teeth stipped out on the long arm that drives the window up/down not allowing the window to close all the way.

It looks like a daunting task and was hoping for some tips.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks.

Welcome to this forum! You have to remove the door panel to get to it. It's not exactly the easiest task. They make the door skins with only a small opening to work in. Watch out for sharp metal edges.

Welcome To The Forum! And Brooklyn is right its a tight area to work with.

Thanks, Already have taken things apart in order to find the initial problem.
Looks like the motor gear has been chewing away at the transfer arm teeth each time the window is closed to the top. Metal gears on anything will eventually do that :)

One question I have is if the arm, motor, window tray are all one piece ? separate, pressed parts, and tips on snaking the peices out.
