ranger tailgate on a 1st gen ex

is it possible to put a ranger tailgate on an X? would the body lines match up?

that would be one heck of an undertaking, relocating hinges, installing striker pins, but to answer your question, I was parked next to the proper year ranger earlier today, and I din't think it would match up.

with the tailgates its going to be ither to long and to short . . already tryed to do this with my x. so instead went with a air net. still looks good

It has been done, but just cut the rear hatch and get some tailgate hinges.
