Ranger turns over but will not start

I have a 1991 Ranger that stopped running while I was driving it. I've checked the fuel system and it is working. I checked the electrical system and found that I am getting spark on the exhast side but not the intake side of the motor. I changed out the coil pack on the intake side but still no spark. My next step is to perform a self diagnostic test with an actron code scanner to see if it gives me any info. Dose any one have any advice?

I had almost the same problem on my 93 Ranger. My GF way driving it and it just stoped on her. Fuel pump was working. Wasnt getting spark. Replaced out both coil packs, nothing. Replaced some kind of control module(forget what its called), nothing. Replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor, BINGO.
Fired right up. Its a pita to get to, hell while i was there i replaced the timing belt.
