I just bought a 98 XLT Explorer, and been having trouble with the windows not working. I traced it back to the retain accessory relay, and jumping the high power side, the windows all work fine. However, it seems there is only voltage on one pin- the high power input, which would lead pretty much straight to the battery. When accessory power is switched on (I.e. the key turned on) none of the other pins get power.
Does anyone know which pin should have voltage to close the relay, and where it leads? Or if the relay only gets a momentary voltage to toggle open/closed? I'm going to pick up a new relay tomorrow, but it seems that if there's no other live pins, it won't fix anything?
Thanks
