Well I replaced my timing chains about a month ago. All is going well other than a rattle at idle after the engine warms up. Its not as high pitch as a timing chain though. As soon as it comes off idle it shuts up. Any ideas. Runs great other wise.

Shouldn't be. Everything was locked into place when I changed them

i got a feeling the leading chain had too much slack and timing is off.

Driver side bank or passenger bank

Would a timing light show that

when you did chains were they lose on the guild side or the tentioner side, i got a feeling and this is just a feeling you had too much slack on the foward chain, when the tentioner went in, and when slack was removed, the timing went backwards by a tooth.
