well this is actually a pretty common problem on the older explorer but this is the first time i have ever heard of it on one that new. how many miles do you have? it usually starts happening after about 100,000 miles. sorry i dont feel like typing this all out right now but here's the link to the thread a while back explaining other peoples experiences with this problem:

just look for selinoid, thats the easiest and cheapest thing to do. but of course yours is very differnt from are older explorers so it might not help at all.
