Read end noise on a 2002 Explorer.

End of my rope - I have a whine in the rear or at least I think thats where its coming from? I have replace the following in 3 weeks, rebuilt rear end, replace springs in rear, both shafts, bearing left side and front, replaced drive shaft and ujoints, replaced transfered case, 4 brand new tires, changed trans fluid, and sound is no better just as bad, and one Help

Do you have LSD (Limited Slip Diifferential)? If you do and you changed the fluid you have to add friction modifier.

No sure if it does its an XLT with the towing package

frt. diff pinon,went through the same thing as a used car tech both on a 2002 and 2008.is hard to diagnois

So your saying its coming from the front, at 62 it very bad sounds like the back but it all new thats what I couldent figure out

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials section. There is a TSB on the rear end whine.
