Ready for Snow!

Got jelly with all this talk of snow driving so I went and did a little sand driving.

Straight off the pavement in Auto with 265/70/16 tyres with 38 psi in them, not even a tiny bit of problem.
Used 4wd for the standing start on really soft sand, no problems at all.

I found mine was better off in the Auto setting vs 4HI, kicked in when needed and chewed it up nicely. Went driving more yesterday and today and it's great. The 1st and 2nd Gens continue to be impressive in their capabilities.

You should see what they can do with some modification. My 91 Sport has 33-inch mud tires and a front limited slip diff. It just loves the snow (18-inches at my house).

But even my 04 Ranger Level II with stock BFG all terrain tires and torsen limited slip rear did great.

Torsen diff, ooh.:chug: I love those, and the one in my Mounty has 100k on it now. I'll get it swapped out to my next truck soon, wow they blew up in price.
