ready to upgrade my tires to 32's, any suggestions ?

If you are interested in BFG M/T KM2s, I have a new one I'm selling.

Link

It would save you some money (I could drop the price some, too.)

I swear by my duratracs, amazing on road and off road, they get me through our nasty winters here with ease. I know not a problem for you but for us in the north they are bomb proof tires.

thanks for all the help fellas. i called up my local goodyear and they want 220 per tire on the duratracs. i think im going to have to go online and get them. thanks scott, im checking your link right now.

What size was that price for? The 32's are gonna be more because of high demand. The dealer out here had my tire on the shelf for I think $176, I told them the price I found online and he dropped it to $13 under the lowest price I found.

Damn, things are more expensive in Cali..

the 220 was for the 33's. and yes, it costs a grip to live out here! but its worth it. no worries though, i think im going with the duratracs with the link to treadepot you hit me with. im going to try a few more local spots today but if i cant get close to the online price i guess im just ordering them. the lady who wanted my tires just came by and i told her id have my old tires ready for her by tomorrow. ill let you guys know which ones i end up getting and ill be sure to post pics of my lift! thanks everyone.

So what lift are you doing?

im just going with a TT and a war 153 shackle combo. then im going to trim the wheel wells to make some 33" duratracs fit. if that sounds like i might be pushing it, please let me know!

Not pushing it if you do a 3" TT, you'll probably need longer torsion bar bolts. You can buy them from Todd Z at Zabteck Technology for $10-15. Or lift spindles.

Oh yeah, what's the width of the black 15" wheels you have, you can get away with 8
inch wide wheels but 7's would be unsafe for a 12.50" tire.

they are 15 x 8's so i think they should be wide enough to throw some 33's on. i think im going to have to get new torsion bolts, but im going to see how far i can twist the ones i have now. question, when i do the torsion twist, i should be turning the bolts CLOCKWISE to raise it correct? i think ill be ordering my tires either tuesday or wednesday after i get rid of my current tires and put my stock wheels back on.

Can't remember right off hand which way to crank the bolts, you can tell by looking at the threads though. I'd get the longer torsion bar bolts and install them the first time around so you don't have to do it again and pay for another alignment, just a suggestion.

on my truck it was clockwise if my head was near the front and feet near the back

They are balljoints

i meant a brand of balljoints

on my truck it was clockwise if my head was near the front and feet near the back

I did it with my feet out the front, head toward the rear, and I turned them clockwise, too. :D

thanks fellas. im ordering my tires and shackles later on tonight. busy truck week for me, ill be ordering my new tires, selling my current ones, and then selling my old rodeo and getting a couple grand and an old jeep cherokee for it. i was thinking about flipping that thing out, but i think im just going to get it in good running condition and sell it off for some extra profit. thansk for all the help fellas, ill post pics of my ST with the new tires and lift as soon as its done.

I recommend one of the following:

  1. LT265/70R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A® KO

  2. LT265/70R17 Yokohama GeoLandar A/T-S

both have 500 treadwear and last long
both have excellent traction and handling, on-road and off-road
both have strong sidewalls 3 plies
both have reduced noise and minimized hydroplaning

clockwise on my torstion twist as well. measure some point before you start cranking them, i did the fender lip, so you know how much you're adjusting on each side.

also pb blaster or liquid wrench is a good idea, mine were pretty tight, so i prepped them a couple days with penetrating oil. for 10 seconds of spraying makes your life so much easier when you're trying to tighten those up.
