I have a 2003 4.0L Sports Trac 4x4. My truck just started to have a real rough sputtering after about 1 minute of idling. If I put it in neutral and give it gas keeping the rpm around 1500 it will idle fine, but as soon as I take my foot off the gas it will sputter and shake and then die. We are having bad gas mileage now also. Less than six months ago we had a check engine light on and got the codes, we replaced three o2 sensors. The check engine light is on again, and when we took it to Auto Zone, it was saying it was these sensors again.We replaced them again for 300 and its still doing the same thing. The truck seems to be running fine when its driving at any speed. This just happens when idling.....anybody got any ideas as what the problem might be?
