Monroe makes a nice rear shock with helper springs that work well on the back of these rigs

Air shocks are good too to help carry some weight in the back or haul a trailer.

Those were definitely not stock

As far as I know, HiJackers and Monroe are the only air shocks available, but that # doesn't match either. I've had both on my '02 Sport Trac and much prefer the HiJackers. They provide more lift with less air pressure and therefore ride better, and they last longer than the Monroe air shocks.

I already have a set of the Monroe ma227, ordered them just to see what they looking like in comparison not the same and will probably return them:(

I will check out the skyjackers! So odd I these just do not exist although I had a similar problem when I replaced the fronts, I was in the phone quite a lot with Bilstein

I really enjoyed the air shocks when they worked but one of them blew a seal somewhere and will not fill up :( I load this rig up for long weekends of “overland” it’s nice to take away some of the stress for the leaf packs on the heavy hits. I’ll take a look into the helper spring Monroe’s as well!

could be this set
or this set

but your number didn't match.
Did you have a load leveling system or only shrader valves?
It was only shrader valves no load leveling. Thinking of saying the hell with it and cabbing in some adjustable fox or nicer bilstiens!

I just stumbled onto my old HiJackers, and that 729818 is stamped on them, so you have HiJackers. My guess is that is the part # for the tube, which could be used on several shocks, because it is not the part # for the complete shock.
