So im wanting to swap out my rear axle with a new one, ordering a new programmer next mont so ill be able to chabge my gear ratio if i like, i want to go from my current i think it is 3.23, but i know it is an open differential, to a limited slip, i dont want to lose any go off the line maybe a bit more but dont want to loose power at higher speeds either so i need to know which gear ratio to start looking for. I also want to pull the leaf springs with them i have a sport and the 4 door leaf pack would be nice

Doubtful you'll lose anything on the higher end...
What's the tire size you're running on it? I assume V6? Stick or auto?

235/55R15 = a hair over 25" in diameter.

You could go to a 3.55 ratio and get some more pep out of it while still maintaining good driveability, I probably wouldn't suggest going much more than that though if MPG is a concern.

See this tire & gear chart:

Hope that helps.
