Rear brake drum

Pulled the tire off and want to change out brake cylinder but can't get the drum off. Emergency is off. Any suggestions?

try hitting the back edge with a hammer moving from front to back that is hit once front then hit on rear

There's a slot on the back side, with a rubber grommet covering it. You can adjust the brakes through that slot, back them off a little, so they don't grip the drum so tightly.

dont back the brakes off two much unless your replacing the pads as well otherwise youll be adjusting them till your blue in the face.

also depending on how many brake jobs youve had or if any, make sure those factory star washers arent on the studs.
