Need a state inspection this month and today was the day. Been having what I think was a break caliper or a e-brake hanging up viberation and noise for a couple months now. Coming from the rear and only when taking off from a dead stop and worse with a slight turn, or backing, actually worse whenbacking. Guy tells me I need all new brakes front and rear to pass inspection. I'm not suprised as they are original with 80,000 + miles. Guys comes back in and says need e-brake shoes too, knowing that was coming i said yep better do that too. Well I guess the supply house had no shoes, and they really aren't part of the state inspection, the guy said no biggie don't have to be done, just don't have usable e-brake. I say ok I never us it anyway. Pay, leave, and head about 10 miles to my next stop, realize it's still doing but now seems worse. Any ideas??? I still favor a break problem, but know how that stuff can be. They said come back Friday (tomorrow is a Holiday). Just want to be prepared for the line of BS they may have. Anybody let me know if you've had this of know what it might be? Thanks in advance, ...."pear"

Do you have the towing package?

Might be the clutch packs in the limited slip. Seems to be a problem with the LS rear ends.

TSB for rear end vibration

Hope this helps
