I have a 98 4-door Explorer, and just recently bought it. The problem is the rear defrost does not seem to work. Is there a fuse that could be causing this?

I seem to be having the same problem. I looked at the fuse and it appeared good. Any help?

my defrost wire isnt connected. should I buy a complete kit with new copper attachment or the simple epoxy kit and slap it back on?
Thanks

There are also relays involved. You need a wiring diagram to determine which one. Mean while, I'll look it up in my Haynes manual and see if I can find it.

Follow prompts down to Wiring Diagrams.

Looks like fuse 3 in power dist box and fuses 27 and 32 in IP box are all involved in rear defogger. Also a switch, a relay and the GEM.
