My power window don't work on the back driver side door. Both the driver's button and button on the door won't work. Any ideas? Or diagnostic suggestions?

First thing I would do is take the door panel off and see if there is power to the motor when you hit the switch. If there is, the problem is in the motor, not the switches

I had the same problem with both back windows on my '05. Believe it or not, with advice from this board, a good hard slam of the doors fixed the problem (I have no idea why). Might try that first.

My back passenger side doesn't work for some reason during the summer only when it's really hot outside. In the morning time it works fine. I've just dealt with it the past few years.

Tried that, don't know how hard you mean to slam, but it didn't fix it. I don't hear the motor go either. Didn't have time to take apart yet.

It seems like thats a lot of work to pull that off. My first questions is:Where can I find a video of where to take the back door panel off? Or how many screws are there? I wiggled the wires between both the back door and the driver door to no avail. The lights do light up on the switches, and I looked at the interior light as I pressed the button and appears there is a current draw. Any advise?

Hmmmm....my problem is all windows work form the driver's main switch only. Other individual door's window switch doesn't work. I wonder if the main power switch might be stuck on the locked position. Any suggestions???
I think I might have solved my problem. But I do welcome more info on this.
Thanks,
~Connie V.

Tonight I took off the panel. Then I put the switch back on and gave a big whack on the metal panel and it worked. I couldn't get it to work hitting the plastic panel so it needed a solid hit on the metal. Since the panel is off, what should I do? New motor? Or just add grease to the moving parts?
