I have an 05 Explorer. Just replaced rear differential and upper right control arm with upper ball joint in it.
My problem that I am having is that every time I go 35mph or higher and hit a bump, the rear end feels like it loses the road and shifts out to the right. Almost like i hit a slick spot in the road.

Could this be shocks.. This problem was occuring before i repaired and still happening now. The tire pressures are all the same and it has been aligned.

Thanks in advance for your help

Cheers!

It's the torsion bar or link, I had mine replaced last year on my 02, they where on a national back order cause of the problem was starting to happen. I'm sure by now there in good supply.

I believe you mean the tie rod. If your tie rod is shot, you will have excessive play in the wheel and you will wabble all around. Changing my front tie rod made a night and day difference in my drive quality when it was shot.
