I want to throw the front 4" skyjacker lift i have on my trashed ranger onto the X, what do i do about the back? from what i have read, doing the spring over conversion gets about 6" lift, 2" too much.. shackles only get about 1.5-2".
could i do the spring over conversion and then do 'lowering' shackels to lower it 2"?
better way? (without getting new springs?)

also, if i did the spring over, what shocks do i need to run?

what did the ranger have in the back? If its trashed than why cant u use that? if u decide to do the spring over in the back some people use their stock shocks, but i think that might limit flex. i would get new shocks. i wouldnt think that useing lowering blocks with the spring over would be a bad idea, but i dont know.

i'm not too worried about flex, its not going to be a hard core offroader, just a lifted DD, might see some mild mudding..
i was thinking lowering shackles, not blocks..

i did see that summit has add a leafs for $30, that plus lifting shackels should = ~4" right?

yes, aal and shackels should be about 4 inches.

great! 4" of lift for under 100.. LOL gotta love that! (well not counting the new rear shocks, but i need those badly even if i dont lift it, so i am not counting that..)
