my 95 xlt has the left rear sag problem. I want to do the tt/shackles. my question is should i do the add a spring and get a new set of leaf springs or should i use the shackles w/new springs.
anyone know how much a set of leaf springs go for and where to get.(aftermarket ect?)
any suggestions on the best way to do it right
i will be getting 31x10.5 also.
I want to do it once and the right way

Stock springs are usually about $100 from a junkyard or $160-200 new. Though, instead of doing the shackles for 2" I recommend getting 2" OME lift springs. They'll probably never sag and give you the lift you want. Then you can add the shackles later for even more lift. Around $400 through 4wheelparts I believe.

can't seem to find the springs on 4wheelparts.com
where are they exactly

Probably have to call them or visit a store.

so go with the new springs w/2" lift the torsion twist
set of 31 and i should be all set
does this sound like the right thing to do????
i am also going to put new shocks on at the same time
any suggestions, i use the truck for on road mostly

You can get shocks specifically mated to the OME springs. They are VERY heavy duty offroad shocks though. Most people on this board just recommend the gabriel VST shocks for light wheeeling/on-road use.

I found bilstein shocks for 60.00
i think i will like them the best
but i can not find the ome springs anywhere
please help about how much are they also

4wheelparts can get them, it's OME-36. Like I said before, it's around $400. You'll have to call them, they're usually not in the catalog.

thanks for all the help it helped me alot in finding the right combination of parts to set my 95 x up right
once again thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
